As the daughter of a stylist, Tammy Jimenez has grown up in the industry, spending much of her life within the walls of a salon. In 2003, Tammy and her mother, Roxie, opened haircolorxperts—a franchise founded in Florida. In 2006, the franchise dissolved and Tammy and Roxie headed out on their own. They successfully transformed the business into a warm and inviting salon, focusing on the customer experience, and offering premiere services at an accessible price. In January 2013, Tammy and her husband Justin purchased the salon, allowing Roxie to take a step back and enjoy life as she moves into retirement. Tammy and Justin took the evolution of the salon one step further, rebranding as Hair Rx, and adding myriad services and premium product lines. While handling all the business operations for the salon, Tammy also earned her Bachelors degree from Regis University in Communications and Organizational Leadership. She has also completed additional Leadership courses from CSU, and hopes to continue her education throughout her career. She attends classes from the top educators in the beauty industry, expanding her knowledge of a trade that is constantly growing and evolving. Tammy and Justin are also the proud parents of two boisterous little girls, two goofy pooches, a sweet gecko, and two fish.
